GROWING THE IMMIGRANT RIGHTS MOVEMENT IN Pennsylvania
In addition to coordinating immigrant rights advocacy, PIC supports immigrant-led and immigrant serving member organizations in building capacity to both engage in advocacy work and to expand services for immigrant communities across the state.
PIC does this by providing up-to-date and accurate information on immigration issues and policies to our members and supporters. PIC also develops materials and organizes trainings to provide community education for members as well as partner organizations, networks, associations and schools. Finally, PIC provides leadership development opportunities and the statewide network for members to continue to grow their capacity to engage in advocacy work and provide services, with the long-term goal of providing equal access to resources to immigrant communities throughout the commonwealth.
