PIC’s mission centers on advocating for pro-immigrant policies at the local, state, and federal levels. PIC member organizations come together to choose the organization’s issue and campaign priorities. These priorities guide PIC’s choices on what policies to focus on and what campaigns to support.

Winning Welcoming Policies
As a coalition members plan campaigns, receive support for base-building and leadership development, and win together. PICC provides the container for our members, who are the communities most impacted, to lead the development of and push for welcoming public policies at the local, state, and federal levels. Our work as a coalition is co-created with our members through work group meetings. The Pennsylvania Immigration Coalition plays a unique role as the only organization in Pennsylvania bringing together nonprofits, grassroots groups & individuals representing different ethnicities, immigration statuses, faiths, and other backgrounds to work collectively on immigrant rights.
As a full coalition the members set our national and state policy platforms, set the statewide coordinated plan, and decide on the work groups where members then collaborate on issue campaigns for immigrant communities in two-year cycles.
